Law Students and Recent Graduates

We offer positions to 3Ls and recent law school graduates who are eager to gain practical, hands-on experience from day one. Atwood & Malone offers superb mentorship and training to help associates build their careers toward partnership. You will work directly with experienced attorneys on active cases and will be supported in taking on substantial client matter responsibility early in your career, helping to accelerate your professional development

Associates are encouraged to work on a variety of subject matters to develop a broad depth of skills and experience. You will be viewed as an integral part of the team for any case on which you work and will be actively involved in strategy discussions and all tasks involved in bringing the case to successful resolution. Our goal is to have new associates deeply involved in all aspects of a case so they will be able to start leading cases within a few years of beginning their legal careers.

The ideal candidates will have solid academic credentials, the ability to write persuasively and articulate a position clearly, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Legal Assistants and Paralegals

We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated staff to work as legal assistants or paralegals to help ensure the smooth operation of Atwood & Malone.

Key responsibilities include assisting in case development, preparing and formatting legal documents, managing case files, communicating with clients and courts, tracking important deadlines, and assisting with legal filings in state and federal court.

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with legal terminology. Prior experience working at a court or law firm is preferred but not necessary.
